Nozzle check valve

2010-10-28

for the design of some nozzle check valve I have the following conditions:- Mass flow rate max- Mass flow rate min- Upstream pressure- DensityIt is required that those conditions the valve allowing all the mass flow rate and that the valve disc does not vibrate on the plant.Does anyone know give me some suggestions on this?I had thought to calculate the CV but do not know the pressure drop.Anyway, I could not predict whether the disc will vibrate."Anyway, I could not predict whether the disc will vibrate."Nor could I. Generally, it will be a question for you to ask the valve manufacturer (good luck), or for you to go and test.
